I’m a big fan of TechSmith’s screencast software Camtasia Studio; however I have been a little frustrated as I’m a Mac Girl in still a predominantly PC World. Traditionally Camtasia has only been offered on the PC platform, but TechSmith heard the cries of those like myself who want/need to run Camtasia on two platforms (or have recently switched over to Mac) and recently unveiled “Camtasia for Mac”.

For those who already purchased Camtasia Studio 6, TechSmith is offering the opportunity to add a Camtasia for Mac license for just $49 - hurry though, this offer ends September 30th and then goes back to the list price. To qualify, you need to own a valid license for the latest version of Camtasia Studio (6.x). To request the discount, contact the TechSmith sales team via the web or by calling (888) 750-0685. Be ready to provide your customer number, order number, or v6 software key.

I’m eager to test the waters and see how the Mac version compares!
